Cowboys Executive Sounds Extremely Confident In Ezekiel Elliott

After a year apart, the Dallas Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott reunited.  

On Tuesday, the veteran running back inked a new contract to rejoin the Cowboys.   

He'll improve a backfield that suffered greatly when Tony Pollard signed with the Tennessee Titans in free agency.  

While Elliott's production has declined, Cowboys vice president of player personnel Will McClay voiced faith that the three-time Pro Bowler will contribute in 2024.  

"Zeke is a winning, starting running back in the league," McClay stated on Tuesday, according to the team website.  

Elliott had a career-low 642 running yards with the New England Patriots last season,  

or 3.5 yards per carry. However, while examining Elliott's game film, McClay noticed some good signals.
