Marvel's Kevin Feige Told Hugh Jackman Not To Return For 'Deadpool & Wolverine'

Why spoil a good thing? Hugh Jackman was asked if he wanted to be a part of the third Deadpool film following a fulfilling departure in 2017's Logan.

Even Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige wasn't convinced if a Wolverine comeback was the correct approach.

"I said, 'Let me give you some advice, Hugh. "Don't return," Feige recalls in an interview with Empire.

Feige stated that Jackman had "the greatest ending in history with Logan." "That is not something we should undo."

The 2017 picture was the appropriate swan song for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, with a satisfying finish for both the actor and his fans.

In the same Empire article, Jackman stated that he went on a long drive to clear his mind and think about the idea.

I jumped out of the car, contacted Ryan (Reynolds), and said, 'Ryan, if you'll have me, I'm in.'"

While Jackman returns, this is not the Logan we know from the previous X-Men films.
