Patrick Mahomes stops by Alpine at the Formula One Miami Grand Prix.

MIAMI — The work of a Super Bowl-winning quarterback never ends.

Patrick Mahomes returned to an NFL stadium on Saturday, just a few months after helping the Kansas City Chiefs win their second Super Bowl in a row.

Only this time, instead of wearing a helmet and walking into the huddle as a starting quarterback, he'll be visiting with other athletes as a team owner.

On a hot Saturday in Miami, Mahomes returned to Hard Rock Stadium, the site of his first Super Bowl victory, to meet with Formula One team Alpine.

In October 2023, Mahomes, along with colleague Travis Kelce, joined the F1 team's ownership group.

"I've always enjoyed all sports. "The opportunity to lead an investor group in Alpine F1 alongside Travis and Otro Capital was one I couldn't pass up," Mahomes stated in October.

It's a fantastic time for the sport, and this is an opportunity to take our common principles to the global stage.
