Travis Kelce 'very grateful' Chiefs extended contract: "I'm not a holdout"

Travis Kelce has had a lot of success lately.

Following his second consecutive Super Bowl title with the Chiefs, Kelce signed a new two-year contract earlier this week

making him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL in terms of average annual value

Add to that his recent profitable venture into pitchmanning and podcasting, his imminent debut as a game-show host

and a budding romance with a certain popstar, and it's a fantastic time to be Kelce right now.

Kelce is simply delighted to be returning to the Chiefs, the only team he has known in his 11 NFL seasons.

For the past [11] years, I've been able to make this place precisely that, and I've enjoyed every minute of it.

It is everyone else's responsibility to go out there and keep increasing that tight end AAV number with every contract that is better than mine in the future.
